nice to meet you

my name is charlotte

yoga teacher, mum of three, and founder of Kindred.

And while this is the about me section, the truth is: Kindred isn’t about me at all. It’s about you. My classes aren’t about bending into impossible shapes or ticking off perfect poses. They’re about creating space for real people, with real lives, to move, breathe, and feel supported.

Kindred is built on the belief that yoga should feel like a place where you can move your body, breathe deeply, and find steadiness in the chaos of everyday life. Yes, we’ll flow, we’ll move, we’ll get stronger. But woven through the practice you’ll also find the things that truly make yoga powerful: breathwork, meditation, philosophy that lands in real life, and a sense of community that reminds you you’re not doing this alone.

I’ve been teaching yoga for over seven years, and I’m also a mum of three, which means I understand busy, messy, real life. I know what it feels like to be pulled in every direction. And I know how much it matters to have just one hour in your week that’s yours.

My job as your teacher isn’t to perform at the front of the room. It’s to hold a space where you can discover your own practice, take what you need, and leave what you don’t. Every class is an invitation to move, to breathe, to rest, to feel.

Yoga doesn’t belong to one type of body, one age group, or one lifestyle. And here at Kindred, you’ll find not just a class, but a community, a place to feel stronger, calmer, and more connected there will always be a warm welcome waiting for hou.
